Christmas camp 2025 (Actually 9/10/11 January 2026)

Camping indoors; if you insist you can sleep in a tent ! or Bivvy (remembering for your Chief Scout Platinum award - some of you need to camp!!) mind you everyone stayed up all night playing games last time, and the time before..... (if someone remembers to bring RISK)

All food, drinks, games and fun provided - a range of activities depending on the weather.

Outdoor Log fire - regardless of the weather- with marshmallows and Smores.

We are staying at Boarfold Campsite SK13 5RS in their indoor accommodation (or field or tree).

Subject to numbers; we will have a 16 seater minibus to depart the Hut on the 16th about 6pm - and collection from Hut at 4pm Sunday. OR independent travel Arrive at site 7pm on Friday and collection 3pm on Sunday. Further details will follow

Activities will depend on the weather but bring clothing and footwear suitable for being outdoors - warm and waterproof.

You will need to bring a sleeping bag and a pillow, board games and be ready for some fun. (Xmas jumper competition)

Finally the cost of the camp is £35 per Explorer;

Yes you can wear that ridiculous Xmas Jumper with flashing lights - so get them out of the loft ready !!!
